Chip Skinner is a Gainesville-based consultant, communications professional, and community leader with a diverse career spanning public relations, marketing, nonprofit leadership, and youth athletics. A graduate of the University of Florida, Chip serves as a Governor-appointed Board Director for the Gainesville Regional Utilities Authority, where he provides oversight on budgets, rates, intergovernmental relations, projects, and public communications. In addition, he is the founder of Gainesville Area Lacrosse Inc. (GALAXI), a youth development nonprofit where he also coaches high school lacrosse, mentoring student-athletes both on and off the field. With a background in the restaurant industry, nonprofit fundraising, writing, and consulting, Chip brings a well-rounded perspective to leadership. His approach is grounded in honesty, mentorship, and community service, values that have shaped both his career and personal life.
